Light to the touch but positive and crisp, the Vivid indexing on the Shimano SLX M7000 shifter provides a constant amount of shift lever force across all 11 sprockets. The 2-way release allows shifting from various riding positions; the upper lever still performs the same shift function, but it can now swing in either direction allowing it to be released by the thumb or index finger. A pod design allows the use of these shifters with any brake I-Spec B or I-Spec-II level and the removable optical gear display with integrated cover allows the use of these shifters with any brake lever.

Mount Compatibility:

Bar Mount: Traditional clamp-mounting style were the Shifter mounts to the handlebar via its own clamp
I-Spec B: The shifter is mounted directly to the Brake lever and not via its own clamp, this system is found on the likes of the M615, M675, M785 and M985 Shimano brake series (And, is also compatible with most Hope Brakes, including the Hope Tech 3 lever)
I-Spec II: Mounting similar to I Spec B above, but newer and is only compatible with the newer Shimano M6000, M7000 M8000 and M9000 series brake lever systems
