Why This Bike Rolls On 29s
Trek's Smart Wheel Sizing means smaller frames get 27.5" wheels for proportional handling โ but Medium and up get full 29" wheels. This bike is a Medium. Bigger wheels roll faster over roots and rock gardens, hold their line through berms, and keep momentum where 27.5" would stall. It's not a compromise. It's tuned to the rider this size is built for. Bontrager Gunnison Elite XR 2.4" tyres come tubeless-ready as standard, so you can drop pressures for extra grip and puncture resistance without swapping a thing.
