The ABUS MoDrop can handle any terrain and any riding style and always leaves you wanting more.
Equipped with our MTB-specific adjustment system and TriVider webbing distributors, this helmet offers many features that make it more comfortable to wear.
The height-adjustable, visor-like visor protects you from hanging branches when riding downhill.ย
In the event of a fall, it can also prevent direct impact with the face. Thanks to the helmet's two-part outer shell, the lower edge can also be protected.ย
Specs:
- Lower edge protection: polycarbonate (PC) outer shell covers the lower edge of the helmet and protects against scratches, impacts and signs of wear and tear
- Ponytail Fit: thanks to the opening in the height-adjustable adjustment system, the helmet is also suitable for long hairstyles such as ponytails, buns, or braids
- Mips layer: thin plastic shell located between the inner padding and the energy-absorbing shell of the helmet to counteract rotational forces in the event of a fall
- Reflector Sticker: for better visibility in the dark
- Height-adjustable peak: the position of the peak can be adjusted thanks to locking positions to provide optimum protection from hanging branches and sunlight
- Zoomโข Spin adjustment system: rotary wheel at the back of the head for individual adjustment of the helmet to the head size
- Trividerโข: particularly flat divider with fixed positioning of the straps to prevent unintentional adjustment
- Comfort Pads: soft padded inserts for optimum comfort, attached to the helmet with Velcro
- Removable, washable pads: can be removed and washed by hand or replaced if necessary
- Push-in buckle: for safe and practical handling, the straps are fitted with a classic chin lock (three-pronged connection) for opening and closing
- In-mould process: production process in which the inner cushioning material made of expanded polystyrene (EPS) is foamed directly into the outer shell made of polycarbonate (PC) โ this creates a durable and robust connection
