Lake CX190 Road Cycling Shoe

The CX190 brings the adjustability and finish of Lake's higher-end road shoes down to a more accessible price. Built on the classic Sport Last with a twin-dial BOA closure, it sits between an out-and-out race shoe and a comfort model — efficient enough for hard efforts, comfortable enough for all-day rides.

Fit

The CX190 uses Lake's CX/TX Sport Last: a precisely fitted toe box, high arch and mid-width ball girth that cradles the foot and stops it moving around under load. It's a neutral, traditional shape that works across a broad range of foot widths and volumes. Riders coming from other brands often find the platform slightly wider than expected, which helps with on-bike stability and comfort.

If you're between sizes or prefer a little more room, size up half a size to a full size. Available in Regular and Wide widths, sizes 36–50 with half sizes through the middle of the range.

Closure

Two BOA® L6 dials let you adjust the forefoot and instep independently, so you can dial in tension across each zone on the move without creating pressure points. Both dials are low-profile and impact-resistant.

Outsole

Upper

Lightweight microfiber with breathable mesh panels — durable and stretch-resistant, holding its shape over time while moving air and moisture away from the foot. A wrap-around tongue stabilises the midfoot and improves heel hold, cutting movement during hard efforts.
