Book Prep Day

THE 90 MINUTE WORLDTOUR SETUP SESSION

Ninety minutes. Your bike, Mike's full attention. The same pre-race prep he'd do for a Grand Tour rider, applied to your bike, in our Redruth workshop.

Mike Jenner has spent over a decade on the WorldTour — Grand Tours, Classics, training camps. Now he works here. And once a week, a limited number of sessions are made available to the public.

WHAT YOU'LL LEAVE WITH

A bike set up the way a race team would send it out. Fit, drivetrain, wheels, brakes, tyres — every contact point and every moving part dialled.

Plus a personal setup card emailed to you, so the next time anything changes, you (or we) know exactly where it was.

£295 IS REDEEMABLE.

If you buy a new bike from Saint Piran Service Course within 90 days (£1,500+), the full £295 is credited against the bike. Or if you spend £500+ on parts in the same window, £150 is credited against your order. The session is designed to stand on its own — the credit just makes it a no-brainer if you're already thinking about an upgrade.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

→ Rider assessment + bike inspection (10 min)

→ Fit check + adjustment — saddle, bar, cleats (25 min)

→ Drivetrain tune + gear index + chain check (20 min)

→ Wheel true + spoke tension balance (20 min)

→ Brake feel + tyre pressure + setup card (15 min)

→ Digital setup card emailed within 24 hours

LIMITED AVAILABILITY.

Mike does a maximum of 4 sessions per week. We cap this deliberately — it protects the quality of each session and means he's always at peak.

Book early; slots typically go at least 2–3 weeks out.

NOT INCLUDED

Parts (chains, tyres, pads, sealant etc.), suspension servicing, wheel builds, full brake bleeds, bearing replacements. Mike will flag anything needed during the session and price it transparently before any extra work begins.

How It Works

Pick your date and time from the dates emailed to you post purchase. Mike's available 19 days between mid-May and end of June. Saturdays book first.

Pay at checkout. Confirmation lands in your inbox within a minute. Calendar invite attached.

Drop the bike at 82 Mount Ambrose, Redruth. On the day, ten minutes before your slot. Stay and watch, or grab a coffee at the cafe round the corner.

Setup card emailed within 24 hours. Everything Mike changed, everything he flagged for next time.

Need to change the date? Free up to 48 hours before the session — just edit your booking in your order email. Inside 48 hours, email servicecourse@saintpiran.co.uk and we'll sort it.

FAQ

What bikes does Mike work on?
Any. He's specialised in road, but he's spent enough years in pro workshops to handle gravel, MTB, TT, track, anything. The setup logic doesn't care about the brand. Bring whatever you ride.

Do I need to bring tools or kit?
No. Just the bike, your normal cycling shoes (cleats matter for the fit), and your normal bib shorts if you can. The workshop has everything else.

What if Mike finds something that needs replacing?
He'll flag it transparently before doing any extra work, with a quote. Saint Piran customers get 10% off parts during a session. Nothing happens without you saying yes.

Can I rebook if my date changes?
Yes — up to 48 hours before the session, no charge. Inside 48 hours we'll need to charge a £50 admin fee unless we can fill the slot.

Do you do this for groups or club teams?
Yes. We run group sessions for clubs — usually 4 bikes in one morning. Email us directly at servicecourse@saintpiran.co.uk and we'll quote.
